Shri Shri Thakur Banke Bihari Ji Mandir

The Bankey Bihari temple, Vrindavan is amongst the holiest and famous temples of Krishna in World. Shri Swami Haridas got Bankey bihari ji appeared in Nidhivan. The idol of Thakur Ji is much older and was worshipped in Nidhivan till 1863. This temple was constructed in 1864 with the contribution of Goswamis. After constructing of temple, Goswamis transferred the idol to this temple. Bankey means "Bent at three places" and Bihari means "Supreme enjoyer".

Bankey bihari ji is worshiped and looked after as a child. There is a different and unique style of celebrating every festival in Bankey bihari temple. The deity is dressed up and offered cuisine (bhog, prasad) according to season. Temple is decorated with lights and various types of flowers according to festival. There are no bells or conch in the temple because Bankey Bihari does not like the sound of bells or conch.

Shri Madan Mohan Temple

The Madan Mohan Temple is built in the Nagara style of architecture with Redstone in an oval shape and it is visited by a lot of people. In the main sanctum sanctorum, you will find the idol of Lord Krishna who is in his Madan Mohan form along with his dear lover Radha and Lalita Gopi.

The original idols of this temple were shifted to Rajasthan when Mughal ruler Aurangazeb tried to attack the twin cities of Mathura and Vrindavan. Currently, their replicas stand in the Madan Mohan Temple which are equally beautiful. The temple stands at a height of 20 meters and rests on the peaceful Kaliya Ghat near River Yamuna.

Shri Radha Raman Temple

Shri Radha Raman Temple is dedicated to Krishna who is worshiped as Radha Ramana. This temple is counted as one of the Seven most revered ancient temples of Vrindavan. The temple houses the original Shaligram deity of Krishna alongside goddess Radha. Radha Raman means the lover (ramana) of Srimati Radha. The temple was established over 500 years ago by Gopala Bhatta Goswami.

At the age of thirty, Gopala Bhatta Gosvami came to Vrindavana. After Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's disappearance Gopala Bhatta Gosvami felt intense separation from the Lord. To relieve his devotee from the pangs of separation, the Lord instructed Gopala Bhatta in a dream ❝If you wish to have My Darshan then make a trip to Nepal❞.

Prem Mandir

Prem Mandir’s foundation stone was laid down by Kripaluji Maharaj in 2001 and the entire construction took about 11 years. The temple is built with Italian Carrara marble and the pristine white environment will soothe your soul. It has a total of 94 pillars that has illustrations of Radha-Krishna interactions, their fun, and pastimes.

The interior is splendid with several statues of gopikas, fountains, and Hindu inscriptions. Near the entrance, you will find a pylon that has several peacocks carved on it.

Nidhivan Temple

Nidhivan is one of the most interesting places in Vrindavan of Mathura district. The temple has the idols of Lord Krishna along with his consorts. But specialty of place is that no priest or devotee is allowed inside the temple and the surrounding forest premises post the evening aarti. They lock the place and head back home. This is because it is believed that Lord Krishna comes here every night to perform ‘Rass Leela’ with his Gopikas.

Here, the tulsi plants grow in pairs naturally. The priests arrange a bed, some fruits, a glass of milk, and paan in the nidivan premises before leaving. And every morning, the bed seems used and the food is consumed. People strongly believe it to be Lord Krishna himself.

Iskcon Temple

ISKCON Vrindavan, also called Shri Krishna Balaram Mandir, is one of the major ISKCON temple located in the Vrindavan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu gods Krishna and Balarama. The other deities of temple are Radha Krishna and Gauranga Nityananda. The presiding deities of the temple are Krishna and Balarama at the central altar. On the right altar are Radha Krishna as SHRI SHRI Radha Shyamsundar with the gopis Lalita and Vishakha. On the left altar are Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with Nityananda, and ISKCON founder A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and his guru Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati.

Shri Radha Vallabh Temple

The temple is dedicated to Hindu deities Radha Krishna. Shri Radha Vallabh Temple, also called Shri Radha Vallabhlal ji Temple is a historic temple in the city of Vrindavan, Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, India. The temple belongs to Radha Vallabh Sampradaya and was constructed in 16th century under the guidance of Vrindavan saint Hith Harivansha Mahaprabhu.

The central deity of the temple is Krishna who is worshiped under the name of Shri Radha Vallabh. Alongside Krishna, a crown is placed which signifies the presence of goddess Radha.
